I know you’re bummed out. Shark week is over, and you can’t imagine waiting another year to see those aquatic beasts tear some unsuspecting victim apart. We’re going to miss shark week too, but there are other things in life than Great Whites and Makos. So wipe the stale cheetos off your face, get off the couch and get excited about these:
–IA posted a weird, noisy song I made for their anniversary last Friday. They also posted a These United States song worth checking out.
–Mixing starts this weekend. Woo! I stopped by Devin’s place last Saturday to drop some tracks off, and I had the good fortune of witnessing Drunken Sufis work on their new record. What a cacophonous crew of DC rockers they are… who knew kids from Exit Clov and Jukebox could be so loud?
–We’re playing a show in Charlottesville on Monday (8/11/08) at a semi-secret location. It’s called The Dust Warehouse, and I’m probably not even supposed to mention it in this blog post. In any case, you should bring all your friends… just don’t tell anyone where you’re going.
